Overview
Upon arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll transfer to Arusha and settle into your hotel, where you can relax and acclimate to the surroundings. The next day, after an early breakfast, you’ll set off for Tarangire National Park, known for its diverse wildlife and large elephant herds. Here, you’ll enjoy a full day of game drives, exploring the park’s picturesque landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees and seasonal swamps. In the evening, you’ll arrive at your lodge within or near the park, where you can unwind and reflect on the day’s adventures.
On the third day, your journey continues to the Serengeti, Tanzania’s most famous national park, renowned for its annual migration of over a million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras. You’ll embark on an exhilarating game drive en route to your lodge, witnessing the vast plains teeming with wildlife. The following day is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti, with morning and afternoon game drives allowing you to spot the Big Five and other animals in their natural habitat.
Day five takes you to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of Africa’s most iconic geological features. Descend into the crater for a full-day game drive, marveling at the dense concentration of wildlife against the backdrop of the crater’s steep walls. In the evening, you’ll head to your lodge on the crater rim, offering stunning views.
On the final day, you’ll visit Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park famous for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and breathtaking scenery. After a game drive and a picnic lunch, you’ll return to Arusha in the late afternoon. Here, you’ll have dinner and rest before transferring to the airport for your departure, concluding an unforgettable six-day safari adventure.
