Overview
Embark on an exhilarating 7-day journey along the Machame Route of Mount Kilimanjaro, starting with your arrival in Arusha for an overnight stay and a comprehensive climb briefing. On the second day, transfer to Machame Gate to begin your ascent through the dense rainforest to Machame Camp. The third day takes you through stunning moorlands to Shira Camp. Day four features an acclimatization hike to Lava Tower before descending to Barranco Camp. Conquer the iconic Barranco Wall on day five and trek to Karanga Camp, then continue to Barafu Camp on day six for a rest before your midnight summit attempt. Reach Uhuru Peak at dawn on day seven, then descend to Mweka Camp for your final night on the mountain, concluding with a descent to Mweka Gate the next day and transfer back to Arusha.
